Team Member Spotlight: Jaclyn
Partner & Chief Operating Officer
At DiversiFi, much of what clients experience day to day is made possible by the systems, processes, and people working behind the scenes. As Partner and Chief Operating Officer, Jaclyn plays a central role in shaping how the firm operates, grows, and continues to evolve while staying grounded in its people-first philosophy.
Her expertise spans operations, marketing and communications, change management, and people leadership. In her role, that means building the foundation that allows the firm to scale thoughtfully. As Jaclyn puts it, her focus is on “creating the foundation that allows the firm to grow and scale: clear processes, strong systems, compelling storytelling, consistent results, all backed by a high-performing and happy team.”
🏗️ Building with Purpose
Jaclyn describes herself as “a builder at heart and a big believer in doing meaningful work while still having fun.” She has spent her career leading teams through complex change in fast-moving, high-expectation environments. DiversiFi stood out because it combined what she cares about most: smart people, meaningful work, and the opportunity to build something intentionally different.
Coming from a dual-tech household, Jaclyn also closely identified with the clients DiversiFi serves. That perspective continues to shape how she approaches decisions today. She is constantly thinking about how DiversiFi’s services land for real people, not just how they look on paper.
🌱 Growing While Staying Human
As DiversiFi evolves, Jaclyn focuses on bringing the best elements of a high-performing organization such as clarity, strong systems, and smart tooling, while avoiding unnecessary bureaucracy or process bloat.
“My goal is to bring the best parts of a Fortune 500 tech company to DiversiFi and leave behind unnecessary complexity,” she says. She believes decisions should live close to the work, empowering teams to think and act like owners. Growth, in her view, works best when it stays connected to people.
“We’re not just building improvements for our clients today. Everyone at DiversiFi is responsible for iterating, improving, and shaping the future of the firm as we grow.”
🧩 Turning Complexity into Clarity
Jaclyn thrives in complex, cross-functional work, especially when it involves simplifying something that has become overly complicated or defining how the firm approaches something new.
“If it involves simplifying complexity, aligning people, and creating momentum, I’m in,” she says. “If it’s messy, impactful, and requires bringing people together, it’s probably my favorite kind of problem.”
Her philosophy centers on understanding people first. Internally and externally, she believes that people should understand what is happening, why it matters, and what they can expect next. That focus on transparency and communication strengthens collaboration and builds trust, both within the team and with clients.
She also emphasizes the human element. “People process information and financial advice differently,” she explains. “Recognizing those differences helps us communicate more clearly, empathetically, and effectively. The human element matters. It’s what turns good advice into trusted advice.”
💙 Proud Moments
Shortly after joining DiversiFi, Jaclyn rebuilt the client onboarding process from the ground up. “We cut time-to-onboard by 84% and reduced internal steps by 82%,” she explains. “The result was a smoother, more consistent experience for clients and significantly less operational friction for the team, freeing them up to focus on relationships instead of process.”
Equally meaningful to her is the culture the team has built together.
“One of the things I’m most proud of is the culture I’ve helped shape with our team. From defining our core values and operating rhythm, to deploying DiSC, and launching a clear career framework, we’ve been intentional about creating an environment where people feel trusted, supported, and excited to do their best work.”
She points to a recent team trip as a moment that captured that spirit. “We’re a team of 13, yet 41 people joined because so many employees wanted to bring their families and share in what makes DiversiFi special. That doesn’t happen by accident. It’s a reflection of a culture where people feel genuinely connected to the work, the mission, and each other.”
For Jaclyn, building a great firm means building an environment where both clients and employees feel understood, supported, and empowered. That philosophy continues to shape how DiversiFi grows.
