Team Member Spotlight: Kyle Bautista
Marketing & Communications Coordinator
At DiversiFi, educational content plays an important role in helping clients feel informed, supported, and connected to the firm. As a Marketing & Communications Coordinator, Kyle helps bring many of those ideas to life through blog writing, client communications, content strategy, and creative projects across multiple platforms.
Although he is early in his professional career, Kyle approaches his role with a strong mix of adaptability, curiosity, and perspective. “I don’t believe I’m truly an expert at anything yet,” he says. “There’s always room to grow. Even when you’re the best at something,” What he believes in is continuously improving and producing thoughtful content that serves a purpose.
Kyle’s strength lies in understanding perspective and communicating differently depending on the audience. Whether writing educational blogs, DiverisiFi’s Weekly Wrap-Up, or LinkedIn posts, he focuses on making information approachable and relevant for the people reading it.
✏️ Creating Content That Helps People
Kyle has always enjoyed writing. From journalism classes in college to educational blog writing today, storytelling and communication naturally energize him.
“I’ve always been interested in writing,” he says. “Even a lot of my college papers were enjoyable for me.” Blog writing, Weekly Wrap-Up creation, and content development across channels are some of the projects he enjoys most.
For Kyle, strong financial content needs to do more than simply explain a topic. It needs to help people navigate real decisions.
“Content needs to serve a purpose for the reader,” he explains. “Money provokes emotion and stress for many people, so being able to give readers a clear, actionable route about their future is important to me.”
That philosophy shapes how he approaches communication strategy across platforms. He understands that audience matters, and that the way information is framed changes depending on where and how it is delivered.
“If something is seen in a LinkedIn post versus our Weekly Wrap-Up, the framing and language are completely different,” he says. “You need to understand your audience and platform to understand how to effectively communicate.”
🔍 Finding the Right Environment
Born and raised in the Bay Area, Kyle graduated from UC Santa Barbara in 2025 with a degree in Communication. Originally, he envisioned a career in sports after interning with an MLB team during college. He quickly realized he was drawn to fast-paced environments where people actually enjoyed their work and deeply cared about the organization's success.
After graduation, he broadened his search and was introduced to the opportunity at DiversiFi through his brother, Nathan Dingler, the firm’s CEO. While Kyle had no background in financial services at the time, he recognized the opportunity to learn and contribute within a growing company.
“Very quickly after I started, I realized the environment and culture at DiversiFi was very much like the workplace environment I loved during my MLB internship,” he says. “People enjoyed coming to work and genuinely wanted to see the company succeed.”
What began as an internship eventually turned into a full-time role on the MarCom team.
🧠 Turning Ideas Into Client Education
Kyle collaborates most closely with the MarCom/Growth team, where ideas often move quickly from brainstorming to execution. He also works closely with advisors and the Wealth Team, translating concepts and expertise into polished, client-facing content.
“My role serves as a connector from ideas to a polished product,” he explains. “There are tons of ideas coming from the Wealth Team or Advisory Team that become my responsibility to turn into something we can get out to clients or onto our website.”
In addition to writing and communications, he also enjoys working on projects that improve efficiency and help the team scale content creation without sacrificing quality.
💡A Project That Stands Out
While Kyle says there is something to be proud of nearly every day at DiversiFi, one project stands out in particular: the New Parent Reflection Guide created following the firm’s parents webinar.
The project combined several aspects of his role, from writing and content strategy to design and execution. It also pushed him outside of his comfort zone creatively.
“I’ve always thought graphic designers had a tough job,” he says. “Being able to produce a graphic that I was proud of, especially with limited experience, was really rewarding for me.”
For Kyle, the experience reinforced something important. Growth often comes from being willing to work through challenges, staying adaptable, and continuing to learn along the way. That mindset continues to shape both his work and his role within DiversiFi’s growing Marketing & Communications team.
